Get a BBQ lighter and light it and move the flame around the gasket area... if it blows out, you have an exhaust leak.

I would do this with A/C off and engine cold to hopefully keep the cooling fans off Or use something to block the air from blowing out the flame.

That's what I'm thinking. That smoke coming from the lower header area after sitting, convinced me. I hope I'm right.

You'll be able to tell when you look at the old gaskets. I had a leak with mine and thought I had lifter tick.

In your opinion, what's a good header bolt to get? I had stainless steel on there, now I bought stainless that are zinc coated. Grade 10.9 M8's. Think I need to put lock washers on there? With the heating and cooling off they back out.

ARP 134-1102. They come with lock washers. I wouldn't use anything else after messing with broken bolts. And the Remflex has specific torque specs that need to be followed in order to compress them right. I just checked my bolts last month when I replaced plugs and they're still torqued right.

Can't do anything this weekend tho, rain on/off, and no garage. I also picked up some lock washers.

Those will work. If you hadn't already ordered them I would suggest the ARP's but since you have those, its good. They look the same except ARP are black and I'm not sure what they're made of, it's a secret.
