Thoughts on new hood...

Can't really tell from my pics but my hood needs to be repainted. I have a LMC toy catalog and been looking though it.

What I'm thinking is since I need to repaint I might as well get a new hood. What are you alls thoughts on cowl induction hoods..? Worth doing..? And what else to add to optimize it's purpose..?

I'm very minorly mechanically inclined but anxious to learn. Figured my Hoe DD would be an easy to learn on project. Advise and suggestions are very much appreciated. Anyone that has cowl induction hood setup, pics would also be appreciated.

I absolutely love them. Always have. Defintely going to put one on my 96 2-door. I plan to go with a Goodmark, in a 2-3" cowl. Yeah, they're definitely the most common hood you can put on the OBS, but it's hard to go wrong with them, and as long as you find one that you like, go for it!
