Here is the pic of the wire coming up through the back of the car. This is the only place you can see it in the hatch area.

I have the wire running in the roof rail track on top, but there is a few inches where it can be seen. I may notch out the trim and run it right under the plastic.

Here are a few pictures after the bracket was painted and shaped. I still need to paint the hardware, just fitting it back up.

I have my kydex too and am going to try to mold a cover. If I don’t get anything I am happy with, some of the hardware will change to countersink screws ect. Not worried about that yet since I hope to cover it all anyway.

Looks good. Definitely hide that hardware. Use a washer too? Different metals, corroding?

I like those bars. I still prefer mine behind the grill but may use their bar there. My cheap eBay one may already be dead.
