Tailgate not unlocking 2008 Tahoe

No sound on unlock with remote definitely
And no sound when pushing button on latch. I have power liftgate and all i hear is motor running for that. On close latch sucks it in and closed.

Thank you! I'm ordering the touch pad from Amazon now for an overnight delivery. I can't believe it's only $12 ‍ if I knew it was that cheap I would have bought it from the beginning.
