I bought the center console safe for my 2007 Tahoe based on what I had read on this forum, and I couldn't be happier! It fit perfectly, an easy install, and great peace of mind.
The only modification I added was a small piece of sticky rubber (one of those cell phone dash mats) on top. The reason is that I use the USB port for my iPhone charger, that way my phone can charge there without fear of it bouncing around on top of the safe.
It's a great location to charge your phone as the cables are out of sight, and even if you forget the phone if you get down it isn't visible.
