I am looking to replace the front turn signal bulbs with switchback LEDs. I was looking at a set on eBay that comes with the resistors and connectors. I was thinking of going that route, or replacing the turn signal relay and not doing the resistors. Has anyone made these work?

Or flasher relay and bulbs:

I've done the bulbs and resistor route. This requires you to cut and splice the resistors inline with the turn signal. Relay, just replace relay, no cutting of wires involved

I used the bulbs and new flasher relay option on my 2000 Yukon XL, and when my dad got his LED turn signal assemblies, we also used the new turn signal relay.

I just received the switchback bulbs and put them on. With the lights in the white turns on fine. But with the turn signal, the white stays on and the orange flashes. Haven't received the led flasher yet, don't know if that will make a difference or if the led flasher is just for the hyper flashing. These are the ones I got:

Some of the cheaper ones don't turn off the white light, and just flash the yellow over top, the better ones alternate the white and yellow, and the best ones switch off the white while the yellow flashes on and off.

http://a.co/2zJmgaC <-- I found this one on amazon, but you will pay $25 a pair for them. They flash "amber-off-amber-off" for the turn signal.
