a buddy of mine recently let me borrow a 2815 flashpaq tuner and i am trying to see what all i can do with it on my 01 denali. i know blackbear is held in high regard on this forum but i have questions specific to the superchips tuner as it pertains to my LQ4
it gives me several editable options:
1. increase 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 shift rpms. (0-500)
what is the recommended shift point increase at each gear?
2. It gives you the option to increase shift pressure on each trany gear (0-20psi)
as i understand this will make shifting more crisp. what is the safe increase for each gear? Is this the same as removing torque management?
any idea on what are the default setting superchips use for above in their standard 87 and performance 91 tune mode?
