Sunroof baffle noise. Options?

So the pop up baffle on my 2016 denali creates crazy wind noise at speeds above 30 when the sunroof is open. It’s like a Swiss cheese sail.

Did they change the design on later year models or has anyone come up with a solution to quiet it down?

That’s part of having a sunroof. If you think that’s bad, put your hand up there and push it down....

This is my 7th car with a sunroof and I’ve never experienced noise from a pop up baffle like this.

FYI: pushing it down at 35mph and below makes it materially quieter.

My 06 is quieter at any speed when I hold it down. Have had many thoughts of just removing it. I figured there's some down side to the idea, so I didn't just rip it off, but honestly haven't found a good reason not to.
