Sudden voltage drops

So lately it seems like my truck randomly loses power for a split second then regains it. The flights will flicker, the gauges and needles will drop, and the engine will jolt. Also it my voltage has been at a constant 12 instead of being anywhere between 12 and 14. Any ideas? Would turning the RVC off help?

Replace your battery cables.

There's also a chance that you may have a broken battery post inside the battery. I had that happen years ago and it took me forever to figure it out.

So eventually I got to the point where the truck wouldn't start. No power at all. I narrowed it down to the negative battery cable, I would have to wiggle the cable to get power back on. I think I have it to a good spot for now, I haven't lost power yet. I'll have to get that cable replaced soon.
