I have decided to take a suburban with a bad drive train and place the back on a short bed truck and just junk yard rig a newish version of a proper 2 door blazer. The issues I'm running in to is I'm not sure what will need to come from which truck. I figure the body control module should come from the suburban so it can sense the lift gate but I don't know how to get it to ignore the fact it can't find the back doors at all. Also should I keep the second row bench and push it further back in the truck or just cut it out with the back doors and just use the third row seats so there removable. Does anyone have any opinions or thoughts that could help me.
