STOCK ANTENNA RETAIN

I bought antenna adapter for my Pioneer aftermarket and I have a feeling its not installed properly. It keeps falling out. Can anyone provide picture of what the stock antenna supposed to look like coming off stock radio and how its fitted on adapter? I plan to go back in and fix but want to make sure I have the right pieces and doing it right. I think I broke the tip of antenna to make it fit....

I know this is the most retarded request ever. Just looking for a pic of antenna before it plugs into radio. I dont know if I have something extra on the head or what or maybe my adapter is just wrong....
