Steering wheel controls

I have a 2001 tahoe LS and I've been tossing around the idea of adding steering wheel controls that came on denali and escalades. As anyone done this before or seen it done?

I'm not talking about swapping to a 2003+ steering wheel, but certain early (2001-2002) escalades and denalis had steering wheel control options for the stereo.

Very interested in this. Can't believe nobody has done this yet.


I don't always venture out into the sub-freezing darkness, but when I do, it is hunting season, and I carry a Remington. Stay hungry my friends.

It has been done. I can’t remember the name of the thread right now but basically you’re going to need to get the clockspring, steering wheel controls, and the bezel that holds the controls to steering wheel
