I just had my front end rebuilt on my 94 Blazer and figured out my Gear box is bad.

Debating on OEM (Re Man) or aftermarket.

Anyone replace their, if so which route did you go?

I've been very happy with my AC Delco professional box. Visually check the threads on the housing for the hydraulic lines before mounting the box. l had to chase the threads with a tap to clean them up.

But stay away from ACDelco Advantage series. Those seem to be made to compete with the cheap junk stuff. At least one member on this forum swapped out an ACDelco Advantage part for an ACDelco Professional part.

I went with an AGR steering gear... been very happy with it.
Heard/read lots of "less than desirable" outcomes from using reman steering gears.

Thank..

I have been on the fence.. my mechanic says OEM, I'm just not crazy about Reman products.. I have had bad experience with them as well.

Im late to this post but for anyone else that does this in the future I used a Redhead steering box. they are way better then any of the rebuilt ones you can buy form parts stores. I highly recommend.

Are you guys sticking with the stock ratio or going with a quick turning box?
