Spare TIre 05 Yukon Denali

My 05 GMC Yukon Denali came factory with 275/55/R20 Tires. I found out the hard way over the weekend after the Drivers Rear tire blew that I should have looked under it when I bought it last December. There was no damn spare tire there! Ouch!

Can one of you look under yours thats equipped with 20" rims, what is the size of the factory spare tire so I know what to go look for at the salvage yards.

The size of the spare should be listed on the drivers door placard.

265/70/17. Mine didn`t come with 20`s from the factory but i got a spare off of an 08 tahoe with 20`s from the junk yard.

That is true for a standard Yukon. My denali has the sticker for the 17" tires with the spare dimension listed on the door BUT on the doorwell there is a sticker from GM showing that the vehicle is equipped with GM approved performance parts or something along that lines. It lists the 20" tire size but the spare listing is blank.

Thats the size I came up with after scouring the internet. Ive got a friend checking a local salvage yard to him. The owner is related to his wife so I should get a good deal.
