So I tried the resistor fix for the hyper blink, but still had the hyper blinking issue. So I went ahead and ordered the LM487, got it at a really good price for 20.00 brand new in the box. It did resolve the hyper blink issue, and like so many other have said is what I would recommend to fix the issue.

I'm happy to hear it worked.
I'm gonna order some more bulbs at superbrightleds.com. Need brake/tails and reverse light to be LEDed now.

That is my next step as well, I am also considering changing out the head light and tail light assemblies as well.

Remove this panel (2 screws with hex head. 6 or 7 mm).

Unplug the blinker and replace with the new one :

Hi guys..

I've boughts LED bulbs for my turn signal/hazard few weeks ago.
When I replace even only 2 out of 4 bulbs I noticed that the turn signal was really fast though the hazard signal was still at normal speed.

To fix this I only had to replace the OEM thermal flasher which is set under the dash panel, with a Novita LM487 enectronic flasher.

I did the swap today and I tell you this works without adding any resistor : both hazard AND turn signal blinks at a normal rate.

Just wanted to add my feedback. The LM487 worked like a charm. All LED now in my 2003 Yukon and no more Hyperflash.

Does anyone know if the same rapid flash thing is a problem when LED bulbs are put in the tail lights turn signal?
