I bought a Yukon earlier this week, and there is a silver mark on the rear window. At first, I assumed it was from a paint pen or something the dealer used to write on the window, but it won't come off (tried razor blade, acetone, alcohol)

It's actually hard to tell if it is something on top of the window or if it is somehow a cut into the window. I'm guessing that the tint on these windows is "baked in" and consistent through the whole piece of glass? It's not big, and I could live with it if I had to, but it's just frustrating as I've never encountered something that won't come off even with a razor blade...

Thoughts one what this could be or how to get it off?

Looks to me like a defect. Have your dealer replace it under warranty.

If the dealer doesn't do anything for you, (which they should, if it where my vehicle id be pissed) If it's on the exterior, i'd try some compound and a DA polisher with a foam cutting pad.
