seatbelt squeak

my drivers side squeak's a little when i move around and it's driving me insane! is there anything i can spray in there or is it not recommended to spray anything in there?

I would try spraying the mechanism with one of those pinpoint straw looking attachments making sure not to lube the fabric.

One of my rear seats was squeaking also so I sprayed some grease on it and no more sound..

Ok cool. It's so annoying to hear that sound I just didn't want to spray something in there then the belt stops retracting

Hey man, wd40 is not that good for lubricating my friend. As ive already said you will have to "grease" it. White lithium grease will work for what you need. I got my mechanic stethascope and moved the seat around a bunch and listened for the squeek and got it but my problem is comming back. If grease doesnt work then I would track down the part thats making the noise and tightin what needs to be tightned.
