So I think I have found the source of the water leaking in my Tahoe and it is coming from the roof rack mounting holes. I know I will never use them so I am wondering if anyone has removed them and what could be done to patch the mounting holes.

You can just use silicone and put the existing bolts back in place or get some grub screws if the screw head bothers you. It is such a low profile that no one would ever notice. I cannot recall what color your truck is, but you could spray paint them black to blend in unless you have WDT like mine.

Thanks for the info. This was in fact the source of my leak. I went through a car wash and no leaks. The color of my Tahoe is silver. What I might do is find some caddy style roof racks and mount them. Atleast they are a lower profile.

Escalade roof racks are a win. I have them on both my NBS and NNBS.
