Rear spring count

I picked up a 92 Yukon last month and have only driven it around the block. It seemed stiff so I crawled under and there is six springs in leaf pack. Went under my 99 k1500 sub and there is only 5. Everything looks factory under the Yukon so I guess my question is did these 2 drs come with a towing option that would put a extra spring from factory? The truck does look up in the back by about a inch but I just assumed the torsion bars had lost a little lift. Thanks

How thick is the short leaf? If appears to be thicker than 3/4" then it probably is heavy duty.
