Range disable

FWIW Have it in my 2013 Suburban and no issues. Been in there just shy of a year at this point. No stuttering, no lag and no V4 switching.

I was cautious also, so I bought mine directly from the range website, thats was before I found out I didn’t need it for the 6.2, sent it back to range with no problems.

Can I ask why you didn't need it with a 6.2?

Certain years didnt have afm.... either physically didnt have the engine parts or was tuned out at the factory...

Only 2010+ 6.2’s had AFM.

Is this a good device for the range disable. Don’t have the money to buy a black bear and the last module I bought on Amazon fried my BCM and I’m really cautious of Amazon car parts now.

Got one on my 2011 6.2 wife loves it says the denali finally feels like it should have from day one. She says braking feels better when it's in v8 only too. Perhaps better compression assisting...
