About 2 months ago i started getting a weird idle response when i would come to a stop at a stoplight. The RPM's would go up and down about 100-300 RPM by itself. Once the gas pedal was tapped it would go away. About a week ago, my SES light came on and i ran the code and its a P0440 code, which from the internet the first culprit is replace gas cap. I replaced gas cap and drove 350 miles home. Well when i get home the SES light goes away... I precede to come back out to lubbock for work 3 days later from being home and the SES light is back on and the random idle is back... idk what it is... It annoys me because its almost like my car has allergies from going from the humid north texas to the dry west texas. lol Sorry for the long post/story, but what do you guys think it could be?
