Quick . no start

Have lights. Checked fuses. Hooked up to jump.
But no crank. I hear a click behind glove box. Ideas???

Check the starter solenoid and the starter? Also check for be ground. Any cel illuminated in the dash?

No codes. I scanned. Is the solenoid remote or on the starter?
wouldnt i. Hear a click at the starter if voltage was getting to it?

In most cases yes, but not if that solenoid is bad. Pull out your owners manual or look at the fuse block under the hood. Should have a location for the solenoid

Climbed under. All visually looks ok. Banged on starter. Cleaned and tightened battery contacts. Still no juice to starter

Starter was bound up. Got it running. Thanks

Ive got 185,000. Starter doesnt look that bad visually. Makes me wonder if its OEM.
I will probably swap it out. And replace the mag light i smashed getting it freed up.

ha. i wish it were the case. I have a ford truck for work. but mainly have had GM. This thing has been so reliable, havent had to do much on it.
