I’m looking into installing a Kenwood DD head unit in my 04 Escalade has anyone here used the PAC RP5-GM11 to keep the steering wheel controls etc.? It seems you use the ability to fade between the front and rear speakers which isn’t a deal breaker for me

Did you mean lose the ability to fade, instead of use the ability? I have a different PAC steering wheel control interface and radio harness but regardless you shouldn't lose the ability to fade with any of their stuff afaik.

That’s what I meant, they replied with this “you will lose the ability to fade between the front & rear speaker pairs when you do” which isn’t a huge deal to me, wasn’t a huge fan of the Metra harnesses after reading the reviews always heard great things about PAC so that’s what I ended up going with
