I'm putting a RC 6" lift on my 2000 Tahoe and will be going 35" wheels. My question involves the 303,000 mile Nivomat shocks. I'm replacing them. What do I use. Are the new 6" lift springs like the Z71 and will I need a lomger shock on the adapter plate.

I'll probably need to work out this ancient old body to get the wheels and tires mounted. The wheels weigh about 30# and the tires are 77# each. That's over a hundred frikken pounds and the last time I did any lifting I was loading 80 bales of hay on a wagon. I felt good all day but the next morning, I couldn't feed myself. Six years ago when I was a lad of 65 I could have done this easily. Just needin help with the shocks. Thanks in advance guys and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
