Picked this up at a little junkyard outside of Houston. I'd looked at several Expedition consoles and a few other Navigator consoles, but they were all either the wrong color, in poor shape or didn't have the options I wanted.

Disassembled and cleaned it up...

Trimmed up a bit on the front, fits near perfect against the dash. Next I am going to get some black abs plastic from work we cut with the CNC and fill in the gaps on the bottom and carpet them to match....

Also going to fit some power ports to the inside compartment, and maybe put a blank panel for the rear radio controls with 12v & usb ports. Sometime this week I am going to wrap the woodgrain in carbon fiber most likely... Also thought about sending it and a couple other little pieces to be dipped.

Thanks. It was a 2000 I believe. I looked at some newer body style consoles but they had the center shifter

Nice... Drop ur hvac controls in that top pocket and go double din...

Thought about it. :D I wanna go double din. That's why I'm still rockin the stocker... Gotta make up my mind about a head unit.

I measured the opening in the console... I don't think the controls would fit without some major cutting - which I'm not opposed to I guess. Just have to see what happens down the road.

That looks amazing So amazing that the next day after seeing this I went out and bought my own. Mine is just sitting in place.

I have a few questions.

1. Did you use the big white mounting skeleton that's inside or just the out side shell?

2. If not could you please snap some pics of how you bolted it down?

 :Handshake:
