I've had this old guy for 5 years

I made a project out of it last year about this time, but I haven't really gotten anywhere on it.

Those 2 pictures are from last year.
Though it hasn't changed very much.

Just doesn't have the top on it.

This was the starting point of it which turned it into my project vehicle.
I simply wanted to pull out the old moldy carpet and line the floor boards, but I've taken my ideas to further lenghts.

Around Christmas time last year I decided to start collecting parts for an engine overhaul

Bought some 906 Vortec heads from a junker yard

But I unfortunately found cracks when I had them cleaned.

So, I traded them off for some ****** 193 swirl ports and had them cleaned up and a set up springs installed.

This was my first engine build that I did with my dad many years ago

355 2 bolt main block with the original 305 heads and a 350 cam
HORRIBLE combo

Looked nice then.

Almost a year later with no top, theres a sand dune sitting on top of it, and its a little cut up from trying to fit a new bezel onto it :(

OUCH!!! How did you manage to do that?

And when it comes to the Edelbrock system I have, it is the original pro-flo series, like 3501 or something, not sure! Didn't realize that they came out with a couple newer systems and styles, I love the XT series for sure!!
