Closed the deal and brought home my first "truck". I'd wanted this practically forever, and today it became a reality.

2012 Yukon Denali XL
35K miles
Black exterior
Cashmere/cocoa interior

The vehicle is in unbelievably immaculate condition. It was well maintained. The interior is practically brand new. The previous owner took very good care of it, and only drove about 9K miles a year. It drives like a dream. There was nothing broken on the truck. I paid $38K.

I took it for a 100 mile ride after I bought it. Feels like you're floating on the road.

I'd like to thank all of you so much for helping me with the suggestions and help. This is going to be my daily driver. I have many upgrades that I'm going to be making to it in the near future, including:

1. Differential fluid flush (front and rear)
2. Full 4 wheel road force balance
3. Full 4 wheel alignment
4. Headlights retrofit (with proper HIDs from Black Flame Customs)
5. All LED interior lights
6. Dual batteries
7. Cargo space organizer

Here are pics. When the weather gets nicer/when I get time, I'll take shots of the interior. It really was almost never used.

She's a beauty! Sweet score and welcome! Looking forward to lots of pics! I'll have the gmt900 platform denali someday lol. But for now I can live vicariously through those on here that already have them :D

Sweet! Glad you finally got the XL and low miles too. Look forward to more pics and progress. Nice one man. You are going to love that long body and the Denali power.

Nice ride! Congrats!
I question the benefit of the dual battery set up. We just swapped out our 7 year old battery for a nice Interstate. Not that the car wasn't starting. I knew what was coming, and is now here, for our new to us Yukon. I just didn't trust a 7 year old battery in sub-zero temperatures.
The single battery works fine.

Why would I want/need a second battery? I did notice the 2nd battery tray, but figured that was for a diesel set up.

I have this same question.

For me, it's the simple peace of mind knowing that I won't be stranded at the worst time. Small price to pay.

Nevertheless, my truck came with an Interstate battery, which means it was changed at some point. The truck starts up extremely fast, even when cold. It was 30ish last night, and when I started it this morning, it almost didn't even crank. :)

Another piece of random trivia: it was 8F outside this morning. Remote started, and truck started right up in less than half a second! Impressive!!!

Update: interior shots as promised.

There's a reason I did this at night: I wanted to show you just how bright those interior LEDs are. That's right ladies and gents: no camera flash here, so there is slight to no camera exaggeration here. It really is this bright inside the truck with the interior lights on.
