When yours was new they were rated at 15 city and 20 highway. Now fueleconomy.gov rates them for 13 city and 17 highway. So taking the lower number, that's 374 miles after burning 22 gallons.
I want to say I made the trip with old off road tires that howled going down the highway and I got 18mpg it has better road tires now

My 08 Avy was getting well over 20mpg highway at 75-80mph. Granted it was 2wd but i could baby it and pull off 30mpg highway.

I've got my '17 burb up to 26.4mpg over 50 miles. woo hoo!

I have a ‘15 Tahoe with the 5.3 and just did a 1300 mile trip from Phoenix to southern Cal and back. I drove exactly the speed limit everywhere and got 23.5 mpg, which is about 625 miles per tank.

The best I’ve ever gotten on mpg is 49 for 25 miles, 37 for 50, and 26.5 for 400. All while driving from LA to Phoenix.

When we bought our 2007 Tahoe LS 2WD, we made it from Sacramento to San Diego on one tank...503 miles. Pretty much flat land most of the way.
I've actually gotten better mileage on trips up the mountain and back down. I think that's because it's in 4cyl mode most of the way down so it makes up for the extra fuel going up.

30mpg hwy, not even in neutral coasting downhill with the wind at ya back lol.. I have a 2016 Maxima that will get that kind of mileage, but its a lot lighter than my Tahoe and more aerodynamic and rated around 300hp.. The best I've seen on my truck stock with just a tune is 20mpg all hwy with 3.42 gears.. normally18mpg running 75mph..
