Might be time for new wheels and tires could use some opinions please

So I am starting to strongly consider (as in I have them in my cart) dropping down to a factory rep 22 and ditching my 26s. Bought the truck in 2013 with 29k on it. Every summer since that time I have run 26s with a 305/30/26 tires. I love the look but with 90,600 on the clock the truck is at the dealership right now getting new upper ball joints and control arms. My wife and I also bought a travel trailer last week and for whatever reason that makes me way more nervous to tow on the 26s than my boat. Also the places we would tow the trailer are fairly primitive and I stress about having an issue with a 26" rim or tire.

Now that I got that out of the way I would love opinions on which tire and which size to get. Truck has a 2/3 drop on it. Considering 305/40/22 or 305/45/22 (leaning towards the 45 series) I am also considering the following tires.

If the Terra Grapplers are still super soft like they were back in 2011 when I had that set up they are out. Way too expensive of a tire to chew through in 6 months. I am open to other tire suggestions as well. Thanks for any help/opinions you guys can offer.

I didnt like the 420s they just dodnt last and were bad in the weather we get.

The terra grapplers ive had good luck with.

Ive also had good luck with cooper atp they rode amd wore out good and decent in the weather here.
