I have a Mag-Hytec on my 14FF on my other truck. No complaints at all. In fact, I think the increased capacity helped with the break-in when I did gears in that. The cover never got more than luke warm. The fills and drains are awesome. No more making a huge mess to change fluid.

I ended up going with the G2 over the Mag simply because it uses 14 bolts. Not saying there's an issue at all with Mags use of 12, but when it comes to these vehicles in general there's so much confusion on which axles came with which models (14BSF 9.5, 14BFF 10.5, 14BFF 11.5) I didn't want someone poking their head and only seeing 12 bolts lol.

Did the gear wear pattern inspection, fluid changeout, and put the new cover on. I was a bit hesitant with the G2, but its a really nice cover!

Next up, install helper bags.
Down the road - double cardon front driveshaft, cognito UCA's, steering linkage upgrades

Finally got around to installing my AirLift 1000 bags. Two pictures are at 40 and 20 PSI. I'm keeping it at 20 unloaded, puts the back around 2" higher fully unloaded which is where I want it so I don't have to adjust when I have bikes or gear loaded.

Wife came home with this little gem after her morning mtb ride

Been a good week for the GSU. In prep for vacation where I planned on having my bike and a huge cargo box up top, I swapped out the flimsy load bars with Rhino Rack Vortex SX bars. The stock ones would flex so much with my bike alone that the bike racks mounting bolts would hit the roof.

So that just about completes this build. Only other cosmetic/functional mod id like to do is tow mirrors, but I haven't found a set yet that I've thought "those are the ones!".

Other than tow mirrors, she'll get a double cardon front driveshaft before winter (vibrates in auto4x4 with the lift), and then replace all the steering components whenever the first parts start to wear.

She only has 76k on the ticker now so I'm hoping for 2 more years then really beef up the steering and install new upper arms as she nears 100k.
