Pretty much since they came out, I have loved the stock LTZ 5-spoke 20" wheels. I have realized that in the coming months when its time to get new tires on my Hoe, I could get some used LTZ wheels (with half decent tires on them, that'll get me through at least a few years) for about the same price +or- $50.00 (based on what I've seen in the last couple weeks, as what I would pay for just a new set of tires mounted balanced and on the stock Z71 rims.

TL : DR
What I don't know is, will the LTZ 20's play nice on a stock 02' Z71 suspension? I think they'd look great on my Black Hoe, but I don't want to have to change the suspension to do it.

Thanks fellas!

Keepin it rainy in the PNW...

Sweet! Thanks for the info...

I'm digging your wheels too, I may have another contender if I cannot find my LTZ wheels...

Are you referencing these LTZ 20" rim setup??They ride excellent in my option with a 275/55/20 and actually thinking of upgrading to 22" factory style wheel.

I have factory 2007 denali 20s on my 2006 with all stock suspension and the ride is no different than it was on my stock 17s. Rides and handles great and no suspension problems. The nbs tahoes can ride on 20s as they were an option from the factory on many trucks.

Awesome! I didn't realize these trucks could just accommodate that much bigger wheels so easily. I suppose it makes sense, just never gave it much thought. If I make the move to the 20's with the factory tire size, do any of you know what that will do to my ride height? It just dawned on me that on my factory Z71 wheels and tires, it's a little bit of a tight fit in my garage door. That would be a deal breaker... I'm not parking her out on the driveway like a commoner... (like all of my neighbors...) → Of course, no offense to anyone that chooses to park on the driveway ;)

Don't worry about offending anyone here... lololol......
and yes if rim/tire size was offered from factory they'll fit, for the purpose of this thread we'll say '01-'17....(but many more also)...when you start changing tire widths and heights is when you get into trimming and suspension mods
