Just ordered a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers in LT275/60R20. I know I could fit 285s but they were almost another $100 per tire since it is an “oddball size “. The 275s were $245 each and big enough for me and my factory chromes on a Rough Country leveling kit for Magneride.
I think this is a reasonable approach and answer to:
“how big can I go on factory 20s?”
Thoughts?

I’m interested to see how these look, I’m of that same mind at the moment as far as tire size

I went this route as well. I just scored a great Craigslist deal on a pretty new set of nitto dura grapplers. 275/60/R20, mounted on my NNBS Denali 20s. I didn’t have to make any changes to my truck as they fit with about a half inch clearance to the bottom corners of my bumper cover on either side. It’s a great set up.

I think the 275/60 is a great size on the 20. I feel so much less of the road and I feel like my truck is much more planted on the road. The dura grapplers are slightly louder with road noise, but that’s to be expected since they’re not the Michelin’s I just took off. Nothing to complain about as of yet.

I like these goodyear eagle sport, best tires I have ever had and there not terribly expensive, goodyear will price match other retailers and they have a rebate most of the time.

Those look really nice. Do you have a lift kit on there or just a level i bought 20" 16 OEM Denali wheels for my 2002 yukon with a level kit want to know if there is any rubbing ?

Thank you! I'm just running a leveling kit and 1.5" coil spacers in th rear. No rubbing, every once in a while, it would rub the rear fender liner if articulating the rear axle. I ran the same size tires on 100% stock suspension as well with no rubbing.

Ordered a block for the back though because the front is a quarter inch taller at the wheel well with the RC level kit.
