From the searching that I have done, I've come across 3 options to lower the rear end of my moms suburban to level it with the front.

1.) The McGaughy's 2" Drop springs
http://www.mcgaughystore.com/chevrolet-suburban-ld-shocks-2007-2014-rear-2-leveling-kit-mcgaughys-30014/

2.) The Rear springs off of a PPV tahoe.
GM Part #15200994

3.) Eibach Lowering Springs
Part #: 38132.520

I like the idea of the PPV springs, because its an option from GM. I know they are Pedders Springs, and Pedders has alway received rave reviews. I have read that the PPV Tahoes are lower by about 1" from factory suspension. But anytime I see a PPV on the street, it seems like the rear is squatting. The McGaughy kit lowers the rear 2", and includes shock extensions. Eibach claims to lower the rear only 1-1.5".

Which one is true to their manufacture claims?

Just took some measurements before I order the McGauphy kit.

Stock Height
Front: 32.625"
Rear: 34.5"

That's a 1.875 difference.

Common sense tells me the 2" McGaughy kit will squat.

That is measured from the bottom of the wheel lip.

I'm actually installing the mcgaughy coils this week.

My current measurements are 35 1/8 front and 38 1/8 rear from fender to ground.

New measurements are 35 1/8 front and 36 1/8 rear. Pretty much exactly two inches lol.

Go with the PPV GM springs they have the best ride. The Belltech springs ride like a lowrider(too bumpy for my taste) and the McGraughys ride a little on the to hard side.
