Lowering a 2005 Yukon

what goes into lowering a vehicle? What is a ball park figure for something like this?

Depends on how cheap you want to go and how good you want your ride to be. Crank the torsion bars and cut springs is free. Will ride like crap.


2" drop spindles, 3 to 4" rear springs and shock extenders is your basic setup for around $500. Then you can a bunhc of other stuff as well...

I did a djm 2/3 drop, with regular bilstein 4600 shocks. I then substituted the 2" drop keys in the front for ebay 2" drop spindles and am running stock keys. I deleted the electronic shock feature and deleted the non working rear air lift compressor in favor of manual air lift air bags for $100. Much simpler, ride is nice, and I manually control the rear lift for towing or around town driving.
