I just got back from towing my 3500lb popup trailer with my '15 YukonXL SLT and it's bucking and rough. The trailer is level, and I swapped out for a one piece drop hitch thinking the two piece had too much play. Minimal difference.

If we're on a smooth road going a consistent speed it feels fine. Acceleration or braking, or normal bumps in the road and we're bucking. Seriously stumped - I've had lots of Yukons and Tahoes pull this trailer with zero issues.

To piggyback of PWMac, if you're not using a WDH with sway bar no matter what you do your tow will be brutal. I just towed a 6400 lb travel trailer 7 hours this weekend and didn't even feel it back there. With all the gear I'd say it's probably close to 7k.

What WDH did you use?
