Instrument Cluster Issues

I have an issue with my tahoe cluster. It will intermittently reset the trip odometer, and sometimes forget my door lock settings and I will have to go to the settings and readjust them.... My question is has anyone had or seen this issue. Also does anyone know if the clustet stores the settings or are they stored by the bcm????
