Update! lol

Hi again. So I ended up with an 85 Monte Carlo instead. With Tahoe's on my mind since I joined, I just sold the Monte today and bought a "starter" Tahoe to ease my craving.

It's a 2002 LS black with high miles and body damage but I already like it more than the Monte. I think I paid a fair price from what I can see so far ($3100) with ~184k. I call it a starter Tahoe because it's not exactly what I've been dreaming about these few years. It needs a few things but runs good so far. Who knows maybe I'll fall in love..

i think a NNBS (2007 ~2014) would be a much better vehicle, and should be able to get a high mile unit between 10~13k.

the "wear out" parts (wheel bearings, pulleys, water pump) are cheap enough to maintain it.

i would pray about it & wear out Craigslist looking for a SMOKING DEAL on one, because you know dealers kill ppl on high mile trades.

Welcome from Miami Kj.

I had a CVPI before I got my Tahoe..I like the Tahoe a million times better plus the Tahoe is a lot easier on my back on those long hauls from Miami-NYC..My back would be killing me after only 90 minutes in the CVPI.

Good luck on your search!!

Thanks. That picture I posted is what I ended up getting. 2010 LTZ. After owning and driving the 02 Tahoe, I could never go back to a car.

Love your 2010 LTZ!!!! Nice choice..I really do not think I can go back to a car either..Most sedans you need to be a contortionist to be able to get in and out of it.
