I have a three row leather katzkin kit for a 15' yukon, never installed, I was going to install it in my brothers yukon. How hard is it exactly? Has anyone ever installed their own leather in a '15 yukon or tahoe? If it's flat out too hard to do, then I'm going to sell them off on here for cheap I've had them for way to long

I am guessing it is no harder than the GMT900s, should be able to easily tackle it in a weekend or less your first time.

I don't know about the '15's but I did it in an '08 and said never again. It's not technically difficult, but by the end of the first day my hands could not grip anymore and were covered in cuts. Took me a couple of weeks to recover. Turned out nice though. The next one I paid for, 2009 Suburban for $1200 and worth every penny. If you have two sets of hands and aren't in a time crunch, go for it. But it's tedious.

I have a set of black leather seats (all seats...front buckets, middle bench, and 3rd row) out of a 2016 Suburban LTZ if interested...it looks like I'm down the road from you.

friend of mine is an auto upholster. he says people buy aftermarket seat covers and try and install them and give up all the time, then come to him for a professional install. I dont think its too difficult but there are tricks of the trade that are helpful most people dont realize.
