Hot 4wd selector knob revs jumping around

My brother had to have his 6 speed in his Silverado replaced. He drives a ton for work. He found LKQ to have the best deal and warranty on a rebuilt transmission. It was unlimited mileage nation wide warranty for I believe 2 or 3 years. I believe it cost him $3500-$4000 out the door from a local shop. The difference being the one from LKQ was completely rebuilt and came with a brand new torque converter.

The guy I went with specializes in rebuilding transmissions. Because of the damage to my torque converter the cost for him to rebuild mine was higher.

Got my Tahoe back last night. Shifting fine now. There were so many metal shavings in the trans it was shorting out a shift solenoid. His scanner showed it as stuck closed.

Now to figure out my misfire issue. Rolling or cyclic or something not quite random nor just one cylinder.
