HID malfunction

Update...
It has been a week and have had no issues. Lights function like normal. $7 fix.

ended up buying LEDs and they worked great..til last week one went out then a few days later the other..about to just say screw it and put the original lights back in, even though it look terrible..

I used Xentec HID 35 watt kit. 6000k. You can pick one up on eBay for $28. I have the same kit in my silverado and have been running it for two years. I buy the "slim ballast" kit so the boxes are easily mounted. No issues

I also have also installed HID's and have the problem of them coming on then shutting off. I just checked the start voltage is 12+ volts then switches to 5.25 volts when they shut off.So it seems they need a load resistor or I think what 16SLT is doing will probably fix it and keep the voltage up so the ballasts will keep working.Just my thoughts.
