I have a new Yukon xl Denali on order. I was going to order the 22 inch rpt wheels from gmc but they are not available for an undetermined amount of time. I did some research and found the black rhino traverse look really nice.

What is your opinion on 22 or 24 inch wheels? Does one perform better than another? I read somewhere that a 24 inch wheel can void a warranty? On a big truck like that will the 24 look good? My goal is to have a balanced classy look. The truck is taking kids to school, baseball, etc...but I want the truck to look really good.

I searched in other threads and couldn't find much, I apologize if this has already been discussed.

Thanks for your direction.

I think 24s look better on the 15+ trucks. That's what I want to go with at least.

I will dissent. Not trying to take digs at anyone's ride but I think 24s+ look a tad ridiculous. I also like a classy look but I want a look that doesn't scream pimp my ride, and ride quality and performance in tough weather conditions/safety is also much more important to me than looks. I think these yokels here have convinced me to upgrade to the 22s but I am decidedly not interested in anything above that. Like you, I'm carting my kids and dog around, and will be pulling my bbq trailer and tailgating 6-8x per year. I want a nice looking but practical/utility ride more than I want something that turns heads.

I'm probably a minority here but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
