Help, is this suppose to have a backlight?

On my 2007 tahoe, the dome light off switch circled in red doesn't have a backlight image when the dash lights are on. The fog light image circled in red does have a backlight and can be seen in the dark when the dash light are on. Is that right or do I have a switch with a burned out light?

You can put a new bulb in its not hard. Just pop open and solder the new one in and hell do an led mod while at it

I know you can do it but I would assume it would be very hard same reason people haven't done blue interior lighting its hard so I think a new switch but hey you could always experiment

It's to cancel the dome lights from coming on with the doors

Anybody know how difficult it is to change this out? Any instructions are appreciated.
