no it is a rigid line that crosses over the engine to the firewall to the water valve solenoid. part 23 in pic below.

Do you happen to have the part list that comes with pic 1?

Also in pic 1 number 23 and 24 do you know what they do?

The line (23) applies vacuum to the heater hose water valve (20) via the solenoid valve (22) that is on the firewall. From the solenoid, there’s a vacuum line (21) that runs down to the water valve. When the water valve is closed, coolant flow is blocked from the heater core in an effort to increase a/c cooling performance.

The solenoid is energized and the water valve is closed when the a/c panel temperature dial is turned to the “max” detent.
