The heated seats on my 2012 LT have been acting up all winter. They would both work sporadically. Sometimes for 10 min and sometimes for 30 seconds. They would heat when the switch would light up like normal. I was pretty sure it wasn’t bad heating elements. I finally scanned it and got a B2508 code. That is a short to ground. I searched most of the harness under the seat and I found a wire that rubbed on the seat bracket. I slipped a piece of split 3/8 fuel line over the harness. So far they are working perfect. These pictures are looking at the front of the drivers seat d3cb50435faa5497d7144083761d3e19.jpgec9af63583651c08f9e6767b8034e3d7.jpg9a1169c5d414b8a9b989f4635a0ff4e6.jpg

It's been two weeks and they are still working perfect. I would suggest everyone with heated seats to look at their harness and see if it's rubbing on the metal bracket. I am glad it didn't short out the seat module. Big $$

So my sunroof got left open over night and it rained, now the passenger heated seat doesn't work. Would this be a toasted module issue?

I would give it a few days to dry out and see if that fixes it. Might be a good idea to place a small fan inside the 'Hoe and let it run over night.

Oh its been 14 months and still doesn't work lol. I'm not sure what part I need to replace to get it working again. My wife isn't too happy on cold days without it lol.

I would suspect a bad/burnt connection on the passenger seat harness. You could unbolt the seat, and flip it over to inspect the electrical connections.
