Anyone else cringe when they see these seats before a long trip? Is there ANY way to make them more comfortable? Chevy seats used to be the most comfortable thing out there, but my wife and I hate these. My father in law has an Escalade. Seats are shaped a bit different, but just as hard.

I felt your pain whenever I rented a 15 LTZ Suburban from a Enterprise. Seats hard as concrete and miserably uncomfortable. However, the seats in my 16 and 17 LS Suburbans were/are comfortable -- similar to my old Silverados and Suburban.

So the fabric seats are actually comfortable? I bet the lane change vibrators, heat/cool elements etc. are a big reason the LTZ is so hard. Not to mention, leather is always a bit less comfortable than fabric.

Yes. I have driven from Washington DC to Norfolk, VA several times without having to stop to stretch. The LTZ was uncomfortable enough on the 5 mile drive from the car rental place that I did not want to drive that down to Norfolk and back.

BTW, my 17 LS has the enhanced safety package with the lane change vibrators turned off.

My 2014 Caprice seats are terrible...but it's just a work car, I spend 10 hours plus a day sitting in...
