When I bought my Tahoe, I didn't try the GPS because, well, I didn't know what that Onstar turn by turn business was. Anyway, after cracking the enamel from gnashing my teeth, I found how simple (and expensive) it is to get the GPS I thought I had. The best deal I found was Digital Dash Solutions module at 675 shipped. I didn't do a how-to because there are tons of them online. Suffice to say, it's pretty easy. I did the install in 31 minutes and the before/after pics show it on the clock. That's gotta be a record for someone who doesn't really know what he's doing. As bad as I hated coughing up the cash, I guess I could have just stuck a Garmin to the windshield. But as the saying goes- "If you're not gonna be smart, you better be tough."
