What are you guys getting as far as gas mileage goes in the L86 6.2Ls? I'm pleasantly surprised with what I have been getting.

My best 50 mile average has been 25.2mpg's. this was done on 55mph two lane road. Real world highway mileage is 17-18 and that is doing 80mph.

2015 standard wheelbase Denali with the 8 speed.

Picked up new 17 in mid December. Over 8000 miles and average 18.9 for those 8000 driving in the mountains!

These GM SUVs get fantastic mileage....especially considering how comfortable they are and how well they perform. I think GM knocked it out of the park with the Direct Injection technology !!

On a recent 400 miles road-trip, had no problem getting 24mpg at 65mph and that was with going up north and encountering tons of elevation changes. I did not use any hypermiling technique, just set the cruise and forgot about it until the end of the weekend.
I am also quite impressed, oh and that's withe the stock front deflector removed and the shorter police deflector in place.

Best I've gotten on the highway is 23.5, but consistently 20 on the highway. City is much less depending on a lot of factors, but consistently much much better than my '09.

Is everyone using the computer AVG.MPG ? I've noticed when I take my mileage at fillup and figure the MPG myself it's been as much as 5mpg less than the computer.

I calculate miles driven by gallons at fill up. I typically see less than a 1mpg delta between the trip computer and real math (trip computer always on the optimistic side). I do top off every time I fill up so that could be a contributing factor??
