Our 2013 motor had an AFM related failure at ~44k miles on a cross country road trip.
we had dropped the kids off...and I was letting it eat.
I noticed several of the AFM failure threads seem to indicate they had been/were on a road trip in the last week or so.
am I wrong, or are road trips related to AFM failures somehow?
my thoughts are by the time you get to owning a large SUV in life, you know how & when to let it eat... so most folks with one of these roll on down the road...
