Does 2008 Tahoe LT have active fuel management?

Does 2008 LT have AFM? 5.3L

there is no sticker on the outside of the car, I thought it was supposed to be there.

Is this a bug or a feature?

my 2008 LS 5.3 had afm. There was nothing on the outside of the vehicle that indicated it tho

How do I disable it?

Through a tune or look up Range device. Plugs into your dlc and you leave it plugged in. As long as it's installed, it will disable the Afm feature

Range device is the cheapest temporary way to disable. Hand held tuners will do the same at an added cost for the tuner device, but you get a tune out of the deal also. Both can be reversed if you want to go back to stock.

Is there some software I can load on my laptop and connect to the OBD interface?

And a pre-set tune for that model. More aggressive shift points maybe.

I have GU6 rear ratio so it's OK but not a 3.73 type performance.

No. You'll need a tuner but if you want something that will make your truck come alive, I suggest Blackbear otherwise it's going to be a handheld generic tuner that probably won't give you what your looking for
