so, i have autoride, and the rear shocks are shot, and thereby wearing out the front shocks too.

since i have to replace them, all the research i've read so far says to get Bilsteins 5100s.

but to get a slight lift, like 2 - 3 inches / level, do i need new springs as well? or just a spacer / key combo?

i read through all of this ( and others ) but i'm still not sure.

since it seems escalade and z71 springs are the same, so i don't think replacing them would give me a boost.

and the autoride being out of order has not thrown a code / service light that i see, so i decided not to go Arnott replacement springs, but i'm still not sure if i need new springs or not.

thanks in advance.
